Cloth is thin and crunchy is unbearable ❗

I had a shrimp and set meal. A set of fried shrimp and fins. The meat is soft and very horsey! There are about 5 parking spaces in front of the store.

Delicious! The exterior is unassuming and the restaurant is small but comfortable, like home with both tatami and table seating. I actually originally heard about the place because they were recognized in the Miyagi Michelin Guide with a Michelin Plate. The tonkatsu they serve is perfect—light and crispy breading with a juicy and easy-to-chew interior, enjoyed with their tonkatsu sauce. I highly recommend their set meals (with rice, soup, Japanese-style pickles, salad) and it seems they have both meat and fish-based katsu. Even on a weekday for lunch, it’s a popular place as well, and plenty of locals as well as working people on their lunch breaks seem to frequent here. The service is still fast, as we were able order, get our meals, and eat with quite a bit of time to spare to head back to the office in our one hour lunch break. There is parking too! I will be back to try their other katsu for sure!
